What type of aircraft are needed?: The ideal aircraft should be able to fly 220NM plus reserves and have a cargo carrying capacity of between 1200 and 2000 lbs. Jet-A burning aircraft are preferable, but 100LL is also available.
Is 100LL available?: As of 1/29/10 at 12PM EST: Yes.
Is Jet-A available?: As of 1/29/10 at 12PM EST: Yes - limit to 150 gal per load. 2.89 per gallon.

Information about MTPX - Port-de-Paix: - Dirt strip on western point of the northern for of Haiti. Only about 2500 ft usable

- Be aware of donkey on approach end of runway (from the west).

- Parking ramp is first turnout on right hand side (southern). You'll need to land, turn around and back taxi.

- Ramp is tight, but we easily had a Platius and MU2 Marquise at the same time.
